The business
Provolve is led by a hands-on CTO, founder, and principal architect with over 25 years' experience designing, building, and rescuing business-critical software systems.
Founder
Provolve is led by a principal architect and CTO with a career built on designing and delivering complex operational software - not as a consultant who watches from a distance, but as someone who has written the architecture, led the team, and shipped the code.
Current roles include CTO at Hooped, a workforce management platform for specialist contractors, and founder of Flowfoundry, an AI workflow tooling company. Previously held architecture and lead developer roles across logistics, field service, manufacturing, retail, and aviation freight.
Co-author of a commercial technical book on Apache OFBiz, published by Packt. Experience spans ERP, WMS, MRP, field-service platforms, AI workflow engines, HPC software, and operational dashboards across a wide range of industries.

How Provolve thinks
Software should reflect how the business actually works. Architecture that ignores the process creates systems that fight the business instead of supporting it.
Good systems make operations easier, not harder. Complexity is rarely a feature - it is a cost that accumulates until the system becomes unmaintainable.
Modernisation should reduce risk, not create a big-bang failure. Staged delivery keeps the business running and produces value at each step.
Technical leadership is stronger when it is grounded in real architecture and code. Slides are easy. Shipping working software is harder, and more useful.
AI should be connected to workflows, controls, and measurable business value - not a demo that impresses for five minutes and then sits on a shelf.
Book a short technical triage call to discuss what is working, what is blocked, and what your next sensible move should be.
